Wale und Delfine im Bunaken National Park<\/h1>\n

Das Wasser rund um Lumbalumba Resort<\/strong> sind ein beliebter Ort f\u00fcr Wale und Delfine, diese manchmal riesigen Wunder der Natur. Auf unseren t\u00e4glichen Ausfl\u00fcgen in den Bunaken Marine Park beobachten wir sie oft ganz nah an unserem Tauchboot. Wir haben keine bestimmte Jahreszeit entdeckt, aber es ist eine Tatsache, dass wir sie an ruhigen Tagen, was normalerweise der Fall ist, h\u00e4ufiger sehen als an unruhigen Tagen. Das liegt einfach daran, dass das Spotten auf spiegelglattem Meer einfacher ist als bei Wellen\u2026..<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Welche Delfine k\u00f6nnen wir sehen?<\/h2>\n

Die Arten, die wir am h\u00e4ufigsten beobachten, sind 3 Arten von Spinner-Delfinen (Stenella). Streifen-, Pantropischer Flecken- und Langschnauzen-Spinnerdelfin, oft in gemischten Gruppen von \u00fcber 200 Individuen. Wenn sie in der N\u00e4he sind, hat es sich als klug erwiesen, die Augen nach gr\u00f6\u00dferen Verwandten wie Kurzflossen-Grindwal (Globicephala macrorhynchus), Falscher Schwertwal (Pseudorca crassidens), Melonenkopfwal (Peponocephala electra) und Zwerg-Killerwal (Feresa attenua) offen zu halten ).<\/p>\n

Andere ozeanische Wale, die wir oft beobachten, sind Gew\u00f6hnlicher Delphin (Delphinus delphis), Rundkopfdelfin (Grampus griseus), Rauzahndelfin (Steno bredanensis) und Gro\u00dfer T\u00fcmmler (Tursiops truncatus).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Pottwale und Orcas<\/h2>\n

Absolute Top-Sichtungen sind Pottwal (Physeter macrocephalus) und Orca (Orcinus orca). Pottwale haben wir etwa 5 bis 10 Sichtungen pro Jahr. Was wir meistens sehen, sind die K\u00e4lber mit ihren M\u00fcttern und \u201eTanten\u201c und ab und zu eine sogenannte Junggesellengruppe junger M\u00e4nnchen. Wir hatten verschiedene, wirklich spektakul\u00e4re Begegnungen mit ihnen und einmal brach sogar ein 12-Meter-Riese aus dem Wasser, weniger als einen Meter vom Boot entfernt! Im Mai 2015 sahen wir zum ersten Mal einen m\u00e4nnlichen Pottwal. Erwachsene M\u00e4nnchen sind normalerweise Einzelg\u00e4nger und halten sich in k\u00e4lterem Wasser auf. Nur zur Paarung gehen sie in die tropischen Meere. Sie sind sogar noch spektakul\u00e4rer, weil sie viel gr\u00f6\u00dfer sind als die Weibchen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Orcas haben wir weniger gesehen, aber Berichte von Fischern \u00fcber die Jahre scheinen in die Richtung zu weisen, dass es eine ziemlich konstante Gruppe von etwa 6 Individuen gibt, die dieses Gebiet besuchen.<\/p>\n

Jedes Mal, wenn wir etwas sehen, ist es nicht immer m\u00f6glich, es eindeutig zu identifizieren. Wir schreiben in einer Akte auf, was wir sehen, wissen aber nicht immer, was es war. Das ist bei Beobachtungen an Walen nicht ungew\u00f6hnlich, da einige von ihnen trotz ihrer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe oft nur einen kleinen Teil ihres K\u00f6rpers und oft nur f\u00fcr wenige Sekunden zeigen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
