Naaktslakken van Noord-Sulawesi<\/h1>\n

De koraalriffen en duikplekken rond Noord-Sulawesi behoren tot de rijkste riffen ter wereld. Niet alleen rijk aan koralen, maar ook met een overvloed aan ander rifleven zoals rifvissen, koppotigen en ook naaktslakken. Die laatste groep wordt ook wel de \u201cButterflies of the ocean\u201d genoemd en is geliefd bij veel duikers. In deze blog gaan we dieper in op de verscheidenheid aan soorten in naaktslakken van Noord-Sulawesi.<\/p>\n

Maar ze zouden nooit allemaal in \u00e9\u00e9n blog passen. Er is bijna een oneindig aantal soorten en binnen soorten zijn er ook tal van vari\u00ebteiten te ontdekken. We bespreken enkele van de meest voorkomende in deze blog en gaan de volgende keer verder in een andere blog over naaktslakken van Noord-Sulawesi.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Deze naaktslak komt veel voor op alle duikplekken rond Noord-Sulawesi. Ze houden van glooiende riffen, koraalpuinbodems maar zijn ook te vinden op de muren van Bunaken National Park. Als je er een ziet, zijn er meestal meer in de buurt. Oorspronkelijk ontdekt in Batangas in de Filippijnen, vandaar de naam Halgerda batangas. Het wordt gekenmerkt door een netwerk van fijne, stevige, roodoranje lijnen op de mantel. Ons huisrif is een zeer goede plek om ze te zien.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dit is een veel voorkomende soort hier en wordt op veel duikplekken aangetroffen. Er is veel onenigheid tussen wetenschappers over de identiteit van deze naaktslak, hoewel het heel gewoon is. De originele beschrijving hiervan Goniobranchus reticulatus <\/i>is anders dan deze eruit ziet. Maar de hierboven afgebeelde naaktslak wordt door duikers vaak ge\u00efdentificeerd als: Goniobranchus reticulatus<\/i>. Maar hoogstwaarschijnlijk is deze nog niet beschreven en benoemd Goniobranchus sp. <\/em>Lees meer over de details hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Chromodoris dianae<\/h2>\n

Dit is een van de meest voorkomende naaktslakken die worden gevonden tijdens het duiken in Bunaken National Park. Het voedt zich met een bepaald type spons en kan vaak samen met meerdere individuen worden gevonden die zich met dezelfde spons voeden. Het valt echt op aan de muren van Bunaken en is vrij gemakkelijk te herkennen als je er een hebt gevonden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Deze soort wordt vaak gevonden in Manado Bay en met name bij de Bulo-duikplek, op slechts 5 minuten afstand van het resort. Een zeer kleurrijke soort met een brede mantel. Het tilt de mantel op tijdens het bewegen, waardoor het zeer onderscheidend is van andere soorten. Het doet ons altijd denken aan die beroemde Marilyn Monroe-foto waar haar rok wordt omhoog geblazen door een ventilator.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dit is een van de grotere naaktslakken die we hier in de buurt zien Manado Bay<\/a>. We zien deze naaktslak niet zo vaak tijdens het duiken Bunaken Nationaal Park<\/a>. Meestal spotten we deze tijdens het duiken in Manado Bay, met name op de duikplekken Bulo en ons huisrif.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
